Our client is a non-profit organization operating in the field of applied training and capability development in environments with elevated security risks. The core focus of the organization is the design and implementation of practical training solutions for professional teams operating in complex and dynamic conditions.
We are looking for a finance leader who can strengthen and develop the organization’s financial function. We are seeking a strategic partner to leadership who can build effective financial processes, ensure transparency and accountability, and support management decision-making through financial data.

We are seeking a strategic partner to leadership who can build effective financial processes, ensure transparency and accountability, and support management decision-making through financial data.
Key Responsibilities
Development and oversight of the organization’s annual budget and the budgets of individual projects.
Conducting variance analysis (Plan vs. Actual) and preparing recommendations for cost optimization.
Financial modeling and preparation of management reports for leadership and the board.
Ensuring preparation of financial reports in accordance with the requirements of international donors.
Monitoring the proper use of funds and eligibility of expenditures in accordance with contract terms.
Advising project managers on budgeting and financial discipline.
Improving internal financial policies, procedures, and the internal control system.
Coordinating internal and external audits and interacting with auditing bodies.
Providing financial input during the preparation of grant applications and partnership agreements.

Requirements
At least 3 years of experience as a CFO or Head of Finance in a dynamic business environment.
Strong knowledge of management accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Experience working with ERP systems, including drafting technical requirements for process automation.
Ability to translate financial data into management decisions and forecasts.
Experience in audit processes and a high level of personal accountability.
Ability to manage finances in a high-intensity operational environment.
Fluent Ukrainian.
English — Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
At least 3 years of experience as a CFO or Head of Finance in a dynamic business environment.
