Our client is a Ukrainian defence technology company focused on the development and manufacturing of unmanned aerial systems for operational deployment. The company operates in a highly dynamic environment where rapid iteration, scalable production, and disciplined execution are critically important.

We are looking for a Head of Product Development who will be responsible for the strategic evolution of UAV platforms, coordination of cross-functional teams, and transformation of battlefield feedback into product solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the development strategy for UAV platforms, including product priorities and lifecycle management.
Manage product roadmaps based on battlefield feedback, operational needs, and the evolving EW (electronic warfare) environment.
Coordinate collaboration between R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams to ensure product development and scalability.
Ensure rapid adaptation of products to changing battlefield conditions, new operational scenarios, and technological challenges.
Establish approaches to product standardization, configuration management, and quality control.
Coordinate field testing, operational validation, and integration of battlefield feedback into product improvements.
Support the transition of products from R&D and prototyping to serial production, including cooperation with government authorities on codification, certification, and technical documentation.
Participate in technical demonstrations, testing activities, industry events, and support commercial teams in technical product positioning.

Requirements

Proven experience working with tactical UAV / FPV / drone platforms or defence / robotics systems.
Deep understanding of modern drone warfare and electronic warfare (EW) environments.
Experience managing multidisciplinary technical and operational teams.
Experience across the full product lifecycle (R&D → prototype → testing → mass production).
Strong product management, technical leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing, high-pressure environment.
