Our client is a Ukrainian engineering company specializing in the development and manufacturing of high-tech communication devices and wireless systems.

We are looking for an Hardware Design Engineer (Embedded, RF, PCB) who will be responsible for the full hardware development cycle — from technical requirements alignment, schematic design, PCB layout (with a layout engineer or independently), production preparation, production support, and debugging of manufactured boards.

You will work closely with RF engineers and mechanical design engineers to bring new high-tech products to market.

You will work closely with RF engineers and mechanical design engineers to bring new high-tech products to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design PCBAs for RF modules, embedded systems, power electronics, and mixed-signal circuits.

  • Select components, participate in technical reviews, and prepare design documentation.

  • Support assembly, bring-up, testing, and validation of prototypes.

  • Collaborate with RF, Firmware, and Mechanical teams to integrate hardware into complete solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering best practices.

  • Design PCBAs for RF modules, embedded systems, power electronics, and mixed-signal circuits.

  • Select components, participate in technical reviews, and prepare design documentation.

  • Support assembly, bring-up, testing, and validation of prototypes.

  • Collaborate with RF, Firmware, and Mechanical teams to integrate hardware into complete solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in electronics development (Middle or Senior) - a standard requirement for a circuit engineer

  • Deep understanding of circuit engineering, design principles + calculation and simulation

  • Working with CAD (in terms of circuits) - i.e. mastering CAD systems: Altium / OrCAD / KiCad (namely creating circuits, libraries, netlists)

  • Selection of components, working with high-quality components from Western suppliers (classic responsibility, in my opinion)

  • Participation in technical reviews and preparation of technical documentation (typical functionality of a hardware engineer in a product company)

  • Interaction in a team (at the level of engineering solutions) including work with RF / Mechanical / Firmware teams (in terms of interface coordination)

    • PCB startup and debugging

    • Working with soldering equipment

    • EMC / EMI

    • Embedded / code on the IC

    • RF-limitation, GaN/GaAs as a daily reality
