Our client is a Ukrainian defense technology company specializing in the development and manufacturing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

We are looking for an HR Director who can build a comprehensive HR function, support business growth through effective people management, and create scalable HR processes without compromising operational efficiency or quality.

This role is ideal for a hands-on HR leader with a strong background in building HR systems, driving organizational change, and creating structures that enable sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a comprehensive HR function covering recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, performance management, and employee retention.

  • Ensure hiring targets are achieved across all business units to support company growth.

  • Design and implement structured onboarding and employee development programs.

  • Develop and introduce grading frameworks, KPI systems, performance reviews, and career development processes.

  • Define organizational structures, roles, and areas of responsibility across the company.

  • Implement and optimize HRM and ATS systems, HR analytics, and reporting dashboards.

  • Strengthen employer branding and improve employee experience initiatives.

  • Lead and develop the HR team while establishing scalable people processes.

  • Manage and optimize budgets related to recruitment, training, benefits, and HR automation.

  • Drive employee retention initiatives and continuously improve workforce effectiveness.

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, technology, or other operationally complex environments.

  • Strong experience in Grading systems, OKRs, KPI frameworks, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits.

  • Hands-on experience implementing HRM and ATS platforms.

  • Deep understanding of organizational design, change management, and company culture development.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging HR metrics and workforce data for decision-making.

  • Proven ability to partner with business leaders and drive people-related initiatives aligned with company objectives.
