We are looking for an Intelligence Lead to build and lead the company's analytical function in Ukraine, develop the local intelligence team, and establish a high-quality production system for intelligence products used by senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and own strategic intelligence assessments. Research, analyse, and produce finished intelligence products, from short-form updates to substantive assessments, on topics including defence and security developments, critical infrastructure, geopolitical risk, and environmental or humanitarian events. Products must be clear, well-sourced, and calibrated to the confidence level the evidence supports.

  • Exploit satellite data as a primary source. Interpret satellite imagery and change-detection outputs as a foundation for your analysis. Integrate satellite collection with OSINT, open technical signals, and customer-provided data to build a multi-layered intelligence picture.

  • Apply technical collection tradecraft. Bring depth from your background in IMINT, OSINT, SIGINT, or ELINT to enrich analysis with technical rigour, understanding what collection can and cannot tell you, identifying signatures, and recognising anomalies that non-specialist analysts would miss.

  • Build and lead the Ukraine intelligence team. Recruit, onboard, and mentor analysts as the function grows. Assign and quality-check the team's work;  set the analytical workplan and priorities.

  • Maintain regional and thematic expertise. Develop and sustain deep knowledge of priority regions and topics for a customer base in Ukraine, tracking developments, building source networks, and keeping your team's analysis grounded in the current context.

  • Own analytical standards. Define and uphold quality standards for intelligence products across the Ukraine team, contributing to the development of analytical tradecraft across the wider organisation. Peer-review your team's work and provide structured feedback.

  • Represent the intelligence function. Act as the primary point of contact for Ukrainian government, defence, and institutional stakeholders on intelligence products and requirements.

Requirements

  • Seniority and leadership experience. 7+ years in intelligence, geospatial analysis, open-source research, or a directly comparable analytical environment, including experience leading, mentoring, or managing analysts, or building an analytical function from scratch.

  • Technical collection background. Familiarity with OSINT methodologies, signals intelligence disciplines (SIGINT/ELINT), or other technical collection approaches that complement imagery analysis and enrich multi-source assessments.

  • Strong analytical writing. The ability to write finished intelligence products  in clear, structured, jargon-free prose, calibrated to the customer's knowledge level and decision horizon. Experience with structured analytic techniques is an advantage.

  • Imagery and geospatial tradecraft. Hands-on experience interpreting IMINT or satellite imagery data, working with GIS platforms (QGIS, ArcGIS, or comparable tools), and drawing analytical conclusions from spatial and temporal change signatures.

  • Languages. Fluent Ukrainian and professional English, with the ability to produce and present finished intelligence in both languages.
