Key Responsibilities
Development and support of image processing pipeline for thermal imaging cameras.
Implementation and tuning of noise filtering, bad pixel correction, image enhancement.
Support and development of calibration procedures (FFC, shutter-based / shutterless).
Analysis and elimination of image artifacts during laboratory and field tests.
Interaction with the hardware team taking into account temperature effects and sensor timings.
Optimization of algorithms for embedded and resource-constrained platforms.
Participation in image quality validation together with QA and system engineering.
Documentation of algorithms, assumptions and calibration processes.
Development and support of image processing pipeline for thermal imaging cameras.

Requirements
Strong engineering background in image processing / signal processing (not just high-level computer vision).
Confident programming in C / C++ (Python for analysis and prototyping).
Practical experience working with RAW sensor data.
Understanding of sources of noise, non-uniformity and typical image artifacts.
Experience developing real-time or near-real-time image pipelines.
Ability to work closely with hardware and embedded teams.
Experience reading and applying sensor datasheets and technical documentation.
Will be a plus
Experience with thermal / infrared imaging (LWIR, MWIR).
Experience with embedded platforms, ISP, FPGA or SIMD optimization.
Knowledge of image quality metrics (NETD, uniformity, temporal noise).
Experience with calibration equipment (blackbody, climate chambers).
Experience in defense, aerospace, medical imaging or safety-critical projects.
