We are looking for a Flight Engineer / Autopilot Integration Engineer who will be responsible for integrating and configuring flight-control systems, preparing UAV platforms for flight, autopilot testing and tuning, flight data analysis, troubleshooting, and system validation under real-world conditions.

We are looking for a Flight Engineer / Autopilot Integration Engineer who will be responsible for integrating and configuring flight-control systems, preparing UAV platforms for flight, autopilot testing and tuning, flight data analysis, troubleshooting, and system validation under real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Integrate and configure ArduPilot-based flight-control systems across different UAV platforms.
Configure and calibrate flight controllers, sensors, GPS/compass, ESCs, telemetry, radio links, flight modes, and failsafe systems.
Perform autopilot tuning and optimize UAV flight performance.
Conduct ground, system, and flight testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
Analyze flight logs and telemetry data to diagnose issues and identify their root causes.
Work with MAVLink, Mission Planner, QGroundControl, and other tools for system configuration and testing.
Integrate and troubleshoot onboard computers, sensors, and communication modules, including Raspberry Pi and Radxa platforms.
Configure and troubleshoot LTE, Starlink, telemetry, and long-range communication systems.
Develop and use custom scripts for ArduPilot configuration, testing, diagnostics, and automation.
Work with autonomous navigation, flight modes, and guidance systems.
Participate in UAV assembly, wiring, soldering, and hardware integration; prepare prototypes for testing.
Document testing results and collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve system-level issues.

Requirements
2+ years of hands-on experience with UAV/UAS in Defence Tech, Aerospace, Robotics, or a related engineering field.
Hands-on experience with ArduPilot, including configuration, calibration, tuning, testing, and troubleshooting.
Experience conducting flight testing and analyzing flight logs.
Understanding of the principles and integration of flight-control systems, sensors, GPS, ESCs, telemetry, and onboard computers.
Hands-on experience with MAVLink, Mission Planner, and/or QGroundControl.
Experience with UAV communication and telemetry systems.
Practical UAV hardware skills, including assembly, wiring, soldering, and integration.
Experience with Linux-based onboard computers, such as Raspberry Pi, Radxa, or similar platforms.
Ability to systematically diagnose technical issues based on flight data, telemetry, and test results.
Willingness to work directly with UAV hardware and conduct field testing.
Strong engineering mindset and ability to independently take a technical issue from identification through to solution validation.
Nice to have:
Experience with high-speed UAVs (300+ km/h), interceptors, loitering munitions, or long-range platforms.
Experience with guidance / terminal guidance systems and advanced autonomous modes.
Experience migrating UAV platforms from Betaflight to ArduPilot.
Experience working with military / Defence Tech UAV platforms.
2+ years of hands-on experience with UAV/UAS in Defence Tech, Aerospace, Robotics, or a related engineering field.
Hands-on experience with ArduPilot, including configuration, calibration, tuning, testing, and troubleshooting.
Experience conducting flight testing and analyzing flight logs.
