Our client is a leading European defence company that, in partnership with a Ukrainian organisation, is establishing a new high-tech industrial enterprise in Ukraine. This initiative is part of the long-term development of Ukraine’s defence industrial capabilities, aimed at strengthening national security, scaling up production capacity, and expanding into international markets.
We are looking for a Service Operator who will be responsible for the timely picking, recording, storage, and movement of materials required for production. The key objective of the role is to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted operation of the production and warehouse teams by providing them with the necessary materials and components on time.

We are looking for a Service Operator who will be responsible for the timely picking, recording, storage, and movement of materials required for production. The key objective of the role is to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted operation of the production and warehouse teams by providing them with the necessary materials and components on time.
Key Responsibilities
Perform warehouse operations and production material-support activities in accordance with approved procedures.
Kit materials in support of production programs and update the relevant systems in a timely manner.
Receive materials into the company and update the relevant systems accordingly.
Package and dispatch materials and finished products to customers and other sites.
Ensure the availability and accurate tracking of consumables through the tool management system.
Perform cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of MRP system data.
Maintain housekeeping of all store areas in line with Lean and 5S principles.
Operate vehicles and material handling equipment, including forklift trucks, as required.
Care for and secure equipment, tools, and materials within the area of responsibility, and perform minor maintenance on them.
Undergo training for various tasks and share acquired skills with other employees.

Requirements
Full secondary or vocational education.
Confident computer skills and proficiency in basic office software.
Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or production materials environment will be an advantage.
Experience working with MRP/ERP systems and an understanding of accurate inventory control principles.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe materials handling requirements.
Ability to safely perform material handling operations, including moving, lifting, packing, unpacking, and dispatching materials and components.
Understanding of quality standards applicable in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the defence industry.
Forklift operating experience will be an advantage.
Practical experience in warehouse logistics, including receiving, storing, picking, moving, and dispatching materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment.
Responsible attitude and ability to follow tasks through to completion.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively resolve work-related issues.
