Our client is a Ukrainian defense company focused on the development of unmanned aerial systems. The company is currently working on several products at different stages of development and is looking for a Product Manager who will take full ownership of the product direction, coordinate the R&D team, and drive products from concept to real-world implementation.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience managing technical products, leading cross-functional teams, and operating in hardware, engineering, or defense-related environments.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product development process.
Build and maintain product roadmaps and development plans.
Coordinate the work of engineers and technical specialists.
Prioritize tasks and manage product backlogs.
Control project budgets and resource allocation.
Act as the primary communication point between the team and the owner.
Remove blockers and improve development efficiency.
Support planning, testing, and implementation activities.
Participate in hiring and scaling the R&D team.
Ensure product progress, deadlines, and deliverables are achieved.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in Product Management, R&D Management, Engineering Management, or similar roles.
Experience managing complex technical or hardware products.
Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Strong project planning and organizational skills.
Experience managing budgets and resources.
Ability to make independent decisions and take ownership.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams.
Ability to work in a fast-changing environment.

Will be a plus:

Experience in UAV, defense, robotics, aviation, or embedded systems.
Experience with hardware product development.
Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments.
Previous involvement in R&D projects.
Understanding of military or dual-use technologies.

2+ years of experience in Product Management, R&D Management, Engineering Management, or similar roles.
